Welcome. I’m Gisella, a lettering designer dedicated to giving words presence, character, and intention. I transform letterforms into hand-crafted designs that feel distinctive, expressive, and thoughtfully made.
Through my studio, I collaborate with businesses, brands, and campaigns that value artistry and individuality, creating lettering that is authentic, memorable, and emotionally resonant. Work that not only communicates, but leaves a lasting impression.
I’m originally from Colombia, but my love for design brought me to the United States, where I earned my M.A. in Graphic Design and spent the next 15+ years creating for brands of all kinds. Along the way, I realized my true obsession: Lettering design. There’s just something magical about shaping words, giving them attitude, and turning simple phrases into little works of art.
When I’m not sketching letters, I’m usually with my family, cooking together, hunting for our next DIY project, or heading outside for a little adventure. I’m a nature-lover at heart, the kind of hiker who always ends up last because I keep stopping to admire a flower, a curious leaf, or some tiny detail no one else even noticed.
I’m an all-foods-welcome kind of person, a cat and dog lover, and someone who genuinely loves a good laugh. I’m easygoing, and happiest when I’m making something, whether it’s a meal, a garden full of new plants, or yet another home project that starts with “what if we…?” I whistle when nobody is looking, and a quick trip to the supermarket usually turns into a mini field trip because as a good letterer I stop to admire every interesting label. Music or interesting podcasts are always playing somewhere around me, I love exploring new places, and I’m endlessly curious about the little things in life. Just don’t ask me to dress up for Halloween... my creativity has a strict “no costumes” policy.

I take time to understand your goals, your style, and the story you want to tell. From early pencil sketches to the final digital refinements, every stroke is intentional and infused with creativity. No artificial intelligence here. Each letter is crafted with care so that the end result isn’t just beautiful... it’s meaningful.
